| Up-Cycled Necklaces, Zipper Pulls, Key Hooks,Doorbells, Earrings and Bead Toppers are the creations I make with copper salvaged from the roof of a 35 year old building demolished in 2001. I individually cut, file, shape and stamp each piece of this reclaimed material. There are variations on every piece I make, as they are each hand done. The copper also has its own variations having been weathered by the Central Oregon elements.
The circles are cut using a precision forged steel cutter and the other shapes are hand cut using metal shears. I have several different font sets and over 150 design stamps. The letters are stamped one at a time like an old fashioned typewriter. I set up a workstation in my booth to demonstrate my craft and make custom pieces for visitors right on the spot.
